Complete replacement of all fuse switch units on main switchboard with moulded case circuit breakers, including new bus bar system. The switchboard (Form 1) was originally built by others and because of its age, replacement fuse switches / spares were no longer available. The solution we provided, gave our customer a “Form 4” switchboard equipped with the latest range of moulded case circuit breakers and numerous other components including earth leakage monitoring on selected circuits. The above modifications were carried out to the switchboard (Over 7.00 metres long) without the store loosing a single hour of trading. In the same store, we completely replaced the components within 14 riser panels as the original equipment was obsolete, again without the loss of any trading within the store.
